Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Be a teaching or instructional staff member at a major university in a developing country.
  • Not already hold a PhD degree.
  • Hold at least a Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Be admitted as a new PhD student at Seoul National University for Spring 2027.
  • Be currently employed in an academic or research position, such as:
    • Professor
    • Associate Professor
    • Assistant Professor
    • Research Professor
    • Lecturer
    • Instructor
    • Teaching Assistant
    • Research Assistant
    • Or another equivalent academic position recognized by SNU.
